Dancing

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 5:52 am

As long as the animations don't all svck like they did on 90% of the dance mods in Oblivion. They didn't clip or anything, but it always looked like the Night Elf female dance from WoW and that is by far the WORST dance imo. There should be multiple types of dancing.

But as someone else said, this is so far down on the list of things they should do I can't even find it.

No it would be stupid as a mini game, but I imagine there could be some kind of ritual dances or victory dances.

I want female dark elves dancing on top of mailboxes and begging for tips

/WoW sarcasm

 Is that something they do in WoW?

Dancing.

(I did a search and found absolutely NO reference to this.)

It's not unlike combat and could be an awesome minigame.

It fits the genre.

It would go well with music played by bards, if any.

Skyrim Chanel 5 anyone?

If dancing is like combat then why to we as the Human race keep creating weapons of war and not dance moves.

How about an "I don't really care" option?

Even if dancing was the last thing that made it in. I would still find something else that was missing and go "that put that in and not this oh..".

Maybe the odd npc but the player doesn't need it, then again, if npc's can do it there's no reason the player cannot. So by that reasoning, I don't think we need it although I voted only npc's can do it.

As long as it doesn't make NPC's like me, like a certain game who's name shall not be mentioned.

As long as the animations are up to par. The dancing in new vegas was stiff.

Dance moves don't win wars. New dance moves are continually created...but they don't get multibillion dollar funding to do so.

I was playing Fallout:New Vegas and came across The Lonesome Drifter. He had a pretty sweet guitar which to my dismay I couldn't equip and play. I came up with a way that could work in that game and in TES.

You equip you'r musical instrument or what have you and hold down the attack button to have you'r character play. Pressing up on the d-pad for the Xbox 360 changed ammo but for this it would change songs. Dancing would work in much the same way. It would have been a great touch.

It would make even more sense for a bard character in TES to have such an ability. It could change the disposition of NPC's, making them like you or affecting their moods making them happier, sadder, angry or braver.

The sad thing is such attention to detail will never be realized. ;_;

You usually got to be on an RP server lol. There is all sorts of crazy stuff there like ERP (Erotic Role Play). When I played WoW I couldn't even stand to make a character on an RP server because it was just so... pathetic.
