Wrye Bash Memory Error

Post » Fri Feb 18, 2011 6:58 pm

Am BAINstalling and all was smooth until I installed Xiamara's New Amulets and its OOO compatibility patch.
When I tried to rebuild the bashed Patch I got this message:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\My Games\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Mopy\basher.py", line 6564, in Execute
self.data.refresh(what='NS')
File "C:\My Games\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Mopy\bosh.py", line 10669, in refresh
if 'N' in what or changed: changed |= self.refreshNorm()
File "C:\My Games\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Mopy\bosh.py", line 10947, in refreshNorm
normUpdate(data[package].data_sizeCrc)
MemoryError

I remade the package with freshly downloaded copy of the mod - same thing.
I get the same message when I try to uninstall as well.

Can someone sharper than the Blade give him advice as to how to sort this out?

Thanks

Edit: Not urgent anymore - turned Wrye via task manager - found out a few mods installed last have uninstalled themselves somehow - maybe again used 2 wrye applications simultaneously...

I get this too IF I leave Wrye open when installing a bunch of BAIN mods and launching the game from Wrye. AFter a while I get the error, have to quit it in task manager, then all the changes from BAIN installs and the mods are screwed up. Exit Wrye after installing any big mods or even a few small ones.

I think this was brought up in the Wrye Bash thread.

OBMM has memory limitations after installing many large packages as well. I have not run into this issue, however; and you've seen my package list. I have actually done the one-click install thing before too (although, I always miss something when I do that, but one day...)
