Mods for changing item weights?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 8:25 am

So i'v been looking around for some "weight" mods for the game, but all I can come across are "carry 50,000,000,000" weight mods, and "Weight limit reduced by 100 to be realistic".

FOOK2 had a nice option that seemed to reduce the weight of alot of the items to make them seem a bit less stupid, and made things such as food work over time and heal for more. Any stand-alone mods for either of those?
Would be nice not being out there for 5 minutes then having to walk back to town to sell because these guys have some issue with carrying stuff I want to sell :( lmao.

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=518 will sort out the item weights.

Quick search on food brought up: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4681, though you might find something else here: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1056342-mezs-gameplay-and-immersion-mod-list/

That weight mod is close to what I want, however it's missing some re-balancing on some of the armor/weapons I was hoping for.
Thanks for those though. I'll use these in the meantime.

Actually, you can just go to GECK and switch weights there, though if you want much or all items weight changed, better to use mods.

Another alternative is getting a backpack mod, those allow you to carry more. There's a few of them available, with Blackwolf Backpack probably being the most commonly used.
