How do you play? Do you let the game be stretched or play windowed?

Most people just change the screen resolution to fit the widescreen.
MGE allows you to use resolutions beyond the default ones.

MGE, I believe, also allows you to modify the FoV so widescreen resolutions look less distorted with the Morrowind engine.

You probably need http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-Enhancements/DirectX-9.0c-Redistributable.shtml and http://sourceforge.net/projects/morrgraphext/files/Beta%20Releases/MGE%203.8%2B%20SVN%20builds/mge3.8.2-rev.0178.7z/download to play Morrowind with a widescreen monitor.

Doesn't newer cards with x10 cover the x9c? It's has for me with MGE on Vista 64.

MGE needs the latest stuff. June 2010 Directx 9. I doubt anyone get that by default. You have to make sure you have that version.
