I just got my new win 7 laptop and I'd like to install Morrowind however every time I attempt an installation it starts up perfectly but sticks on 16%. I've left the installer running for about 30 minutes before to no avail. Oddly, once I click cancel and go into my add/remove programs to remove the bits I was able to install, it gives me the ok saying that morrowind was removed but still shows morrowind on my list of installed programs. I really don't know what to do here and really need some help.
I was able to install oblivion in around 2 1/2 minutes so I've no idea why morrowind is taking so long.

Try restarting the computer, or making sure the disc is clean.

As said, check your disc and restart. If that fails, when the install hangs, check and see if there's an error behind the main window that you might not be able to see.
