Showing your love for Skyrim;

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 4:32 am

I plan to try to skip one or two weeks of work on Christmas and hermitage myself at home to play Skyrim, ME3 and Crysis 2 on my new computer :D

1.Getting me some Honey Mead and drink it the night I get to play Skyrim and make my Nord character

hmmm...I didn't came up with that. I'll see if I can get a bottle for myself, too (I like it!).

MUST. STAY. AWAKE.

Well, that....surely just won't work for me. I don't know why, but in all TES games (it never has happened to me with any other game) I've felt kinda of a "sharing fatigue" effect with my char. That means that after several hours of playing I feel REALLY tired, as if I've walked and fought for hours, and I really need to go for a little nap. I've learnt to consider it another roleplaying factor :D

But Oblivion characters don't need to sleep, so you should be fine.

So the 11th is a Friday. This is tricky because if MW3 comes out on the 11th like MW2 did the store will be doing a double release at midnight lol. Juss a random thought. But I will defiantly get Skyrim at midnight. Then after school that weekend My bestfriend will come over with his copy and we will create a gaming paradise in my room and play alllll weekend!

I don't know if I'll love it til I play it

I'll most likely pre order it but won't pick it up until a couple of days later when it's convenient for me to do so. After that I may be able to play an hour before I have to do something important that either relates to work or school or both.

allo allo everyone! I'm sure since you've joined the forums, read the tweets, GI, and watched the videos posted, and probably been stalking this like a creepy neighbor, you pretty much are dedicated to The Elder Scrolls. If you remember having a warm chuckle at the Guards in Oblivion, the feeling of finally getting to those friggin' gates, or if you're like me, taming a Unicorn and slaying shopkeepers, imagine the feeling you're gonna get when you finally get your hands on Skyrim.
So, I ask, is anyone doing anything special for the release? Like... LARPING! or.. er.. not larping, or just getting together with decent people and having an all-nighter.

I know what I'm gonna be doing. Ordering pizza and chicken wings and sitting up all night, playing dear Skyrim.

hoothoot~ :spotted owl:

haha. I`m gonna watch the movie Dragonslayer before I get skyrim and then when it arrives I will let out a loud woop woop, fire it up and ignore the phone for a week :D

Unfortunately, November happens to be the busiest month of the year in terms of my work schedule, so believe it or not but I'll probably be waiting until Christmas to get the game (possibly even later, depending on whether I decide to travel out of country over the holidays). On 11-11-11, though? I'll probably drop by the forums here to read all the threads posted by people who are playing the game.

First of all, 'bout a week before the release I will start making 20 liters of mead in my closet (yes, I'm from Finland and we make our own mead all the time to get ourselves some cheap alcohol). And the night before Skyrim comes out I will place the canister in my balcony so the mead will be ice cold when I start playing. I will also have some greasy ribs and some potato salad to go with the delicious mead, so I will be all drunk and full of food when I first play the game. And of course I will have some delicious Ettan l?s (Swedish snus) in my upper lip.
