Not just the same old looking armor with a different name, how about unique armors that actually look unique, different models and such. Same with the weapons and clothes too.

Martin Septims Imperial Dragon Armor was just another variation from the Imperial Guard Armor. Something new has to be implimented if it is to be called unique. See that? 5 words after one other containing 2 letters?! Amazing.

Sure. This would also allow them to reduce the statistical difference between some of the armor by just giving it cosmetic upgrades, and perhaps a slightly better ability to be enchanted or durability.
