Pipe woes - modifying FO3 .nifs

EDIT: Well, answered my own question, seems that WAS the collision mesh. Got it all working ingame as it should. Almost. UV now...

Oi all,

Here's what I'm trying to do: use the lpipe1way01.nif file (that pipe you use in the project purity quest, right before you see the vertibird land outside) to make a T joint. So far, I've been able to bring it into the game, tho then I could walk along the pipe, the horizontal bar of the T, but couldn't go through to the section I added (the vertical bar). So, I checked what was blocking me from going thru: this other 'mesh' ( http://i794.photobucket.com/albums/yy228/Cobayn_pw/Game%20Mods/pipemesh.jpg ). I've tried using the same method ( http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/Pipe_joints ) I used to create the hole in the first mesh for the 3rd pipe to connect to but can't seem to be able to do it the same way, or I'm not thinking about it the right way.

So, what is that 2nd 'mesh' and how do I go about modifying it? Basically, I have a collision problem :/
I've tried searching, but couldn't find any answer...maybe I svck at searching. I did find some nice tutorials tho hehe

Any help is appreciated.
