Help please, quick question

I'm getting a red exclamation mark on NPC's heads for a missing mesh. I tried re-installing Project Beauty but nothing changed.

You won't lose any of your mods if you uninstall the game with them in place. If the uninstaller sees any file that doesn't belong to the game, it will leave them alone and leave your Data folder in place. So that the next time you install the game again in the same folder, your mods will already be there. But you shouldn't have to uninstall the game, just upgrade your DirectX. You can get it from Microsoft.

The FOIP patch for eve you have is for an earlier version of EVE. Right now, there isn't a compatibility patch for EVE and FWE, sorry.

It's a simple question. Please anyone, this thread has almost 80 views.

I've looked everywhere, all I want to do is play the game.

Get into the game and open the console. Click on the missing mesh (exclamation point) and it will show the id of the object in brackets at the top of the screen. The first 2 numbers will be the id number of the esp that put that mesh into the game. Go into fomm or wrye flash and look for the esp with that id number. Then try reinstalling the mod that the esp came from.

Hope that makes sense.
