Who is your Character?

My character is Maison McKampela a nobleman from a long noblefamily of both nordic and imperial descent. He is the greatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgrandson of the Champion of Cyrodiil, Johan McKampela, whose brother was Nevarine. It is shame that the character in SKyrim is the last Dragonborn, so I had to kill Maison's family.

So, before the events of Skyrim, McKampela family got in trouble in Cyrodiil and was driven from there (For having Nord blood). As they fleed to Skyrim and the main House there, they got ambushed by a small army of well trained assassins. Only Maison survived, and continued to the House, the Castle of Flounderdive (Going to mod it in). The Flounderdive had been razed and everyone had gotten themselves killed. This of course made Maison rage and he tracked the ones who had done that terrible deed. It turned out that the head of a rival clan had hired bunch of mercenaries to kill McKampela family, for having Imperial heritage and being threat to succesful rebellion.

Maison went and killed the head of that clan and now he is convicted from that crime. Will he get up and save the Mankind, in his family tradition, or will he just enjoy the new found freedom while he can?

I am going to flesh put Maison while I play, as I did with his great ancestors. Too bad I have to kill his relatives (sadface). Johan McKampela had such an interesting family.

(As a side note, why didn't Johan just wear the Amulet of Kings and claim himself as an emperor? Maybe he just didn't think about it. Or maybe his children were blessed by Akatosh. Or maybe it had something to do with that disapperance to Sheagorath's Realm.)

I typically come up with two characters at a time (usually male and female) and this time is no different (well except for the back story). I typically play them separately and their tales are usually intertwined to make role playing interesting.

1st character:

Name: Claire
Age: 16 (though often she lies and claims that she is older to get bartenders to serve her drinks more readily)
Race: Breton
Birthsign: The Lady
Class: Witch
Appearance: Often wears a hood to hide her identity. She has medium length jet black hair usually tied up on either side of her head. She has fair skin and blue eyes and wears a long black dress when she isn't trying to conceal her identity. She was last seen traveling with a male Imperial in Skyrim but their purpose in the land remains unclear.

Background:

Much to the chagrin of her partner and life long friend, Leonde Crito, Claire is for better or worse a witch. She is not wicked but does enjoy using her powers mischievously though this often leads to trouble with the townsfolk of whatever town she happens to be staying at and also had a few close calls with imperial legion soldiers. Unfortunately her last show of power landed her in prison (though it's not certain whether she was caught on purpose or not) along with Leonde on suspicion of Daedra worship, making the clothes of a countess and her guests at a dinner party disappear, and finally making it rain flaming dogs in a town mostly populated by Khajiit. However, before her execution a mysterious man prevents her and her partner from ever feeling the cold blade of the executioner . The old man claims that Leonde is the last of the Dovahkiin and must prevent the destruction of the world (All Claire hears: blah blah blah I'm an old man blah blah blah). Claire and Leonde depart to train Leonde for his quest and slay dragons.

2nd Character:

Name: Leonde Crito
Age: 24
Race: Imperial
Birthsign: The Tower
Class: Ranger
Appearance: Has short black hair with black eyes. He often wears light clothing with some chain armor as to allow for some armor protection while be able to still attack swiftly. He was last seen in Skyrim with a Breton woman suspected of being a witch.

Background:

Leonde has always been a great warrior and has not lost a one on one duel to this date (except duels in exchanging words with his mischievous companion). He is Claire's traveling partner and has been her childhood friend despite her powers and the infamy that it brings both to him and her. He often gets Claire out of trouble (though she is quite capable of handling the situation herself but finds it more amusing to watch Leonde scramble to fix the situation). Claire's last stunt has landed them both in prison (they were immediately apprehended after Claire decided it would be funny to make everyone's clothes disappear during a countesses dinner that Leonde had been invited to after saving the countesses daughter from bandits). Fortunately, Leonde was saved from the executioners blade at the last moment but received startling news: He is the last of the Dovahkiin and he alone has the power to stop the dragons that are plaguing Skyrim.

Female Nord by the name of Serella most likely. Early twenties and has some experiencing using one-handed swords due to unfortunate events in the past which I've not thought of as of yet. She will also be relatively skilled in archery from five or so years of hunting animals to make a living and for food. A small amount of skill with herbalism (assuming thats seperate from alchemy), picking herbs and plants to sell along with animal meat and hides. All other skills will be decided as she makes her way through the world, what weapons she finds and uses and which I as the player find enjoyable. I won't be using two handed weapons for instance, as I never like them.

Personality wise she will, initially, be pretty quiet and not one to give her opinions or suggestions on things. Wary of everyone for a time due to events of the beginning of the game, so she is quite paranoid at first. This will tie into how I, as player, will be cautious when approaching new villages as I won't know who they are, if its hostile or friendly and so on. As both I and the character learn about the different locations, factions and politics in Skyrim she will return to her more friendly, open-minded self (befriending NPCs and such, doing more quests rather than simply exploring, etc).

She will avoid the whole Dovakhiin thing as much as she can at first, only beginning to accept it as she becomes a proper warrior with many slain enemies at her feet. Gradual acceptance of her skill, the need to slay others and her "destiny" though I shan't RP it as that unless some annoying quest givers go "WE HAVE FORESEEN YOU SLAYING THE GREAT EVIL! GO!" *Rolls eyes* How I hate games that do that. Assuming Skyrim doesn't, Serella will reluctantly take upon herself the responsibility of battling the dragons or whatever the MQ involves as being Dragonborn she is among the few, if not the only one, who can accomplish the task.

I try to make my characters, at least my first ones, as much like me as possible in any game. Female, all or mostly good. For looks, honestly, Bethesda created me better than I already could already, lol-- the blond barmaid in the one new screenshot is a dead ringer for me, no joke. Hopefully I can duplicate that somewhat closely. For race, might want Nord this time, but Imperial and Breton still in the running. Her main combat skill will be one-handed blades. Favors light armor. Loves healing magic. Very personable and great speech skills. Sign is The Lady. Age is mine, 30 (or I guess 31 at the time it comes out). Background... hmm, maybe from an old but impoverished family of petty nobility, looking to build their fortunes and name once again.

(assuming that you can have similar custimization as oblivion)

Name: Aziz Alaric
age: mid-aged, 40.
Birthplace: Skyrim.

I would be a very slender, tall High Elf (slightly androgynous) with the lightest skintone I could get (preferably white) with very dark (almost sleep-deprived) eye sockets. He would have very light eyes, and a very snooty look to him. Very upper-classed, chin-up kind of guy. His hair would either be long on half of his head (like my own [look in avatar pic]) or he would be bald. Preferably black makeup, and if not then i would leave him plain. I would keep him only in the finest of vestments, and a dagger by my side at all times (for city occasions). For battle outside of the town, i would prefer to keep a set of very light armor, made of black leather, as well as a very nice longbow.

Id prefer to play the role as a member of the skyrim aristocracy (assuming a form of caste system will be present). My best abilities would consist of: a well-renowned archer amongst the people of my city, Wealthy man who sponsors public games and feasts, very good in taste and friendly. A deep interest in the occult, and has time to read many books of magic and alchemy, as well as perform some rituals. I would be very good with pursasion techniques, leading large groups of people, and other such acts of public interaction and speech.

My position on the civil outbreak in Skyrim is one of caution. I made sure to supply a fresh batch of troops to the city's defense and stock up on weapons for my neighbors and fellow townspeople. Unfortunately i was arrested in the process due to violation of an Anti-hording law placed on the citizens after the war had started, to ensure public safety. Sitting in my cell, i know that many of my friends or enemies would surely know of the value i could hold towards any sort of endeavor they had, and reassured myself i would be freed with a week or two...... *skyrim starts*
