Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 9:56 am

-Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including e-mail addresses, without their consent. this coveres Gamertags
-use any automated process or service (such as a bot, a spider, a scraqer, periodic caching of information stored by Microsoft, or "meta-searching") to access or use the Service or copy or “scraqe” data on the Service; data includes gamertags to circumvent 100 limit
-Participate in pyramid schemes or chain letters it isnt to gain money but the method is indeed using a pyramid scheme like structure

thats just a few can be found here http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Legal/livetou

i dont think you understand the rules you just copy and pasted.
what i'm doing doesnt fall under any of those anymore than the other lists on these forums do.

i'm not scurting the friends list limit my account and the BRINK LIST account are both limited to the friends limit.
a limit that hasnt been reached yet on both accounts.

How did the term "Troll" originate? A big mythical ogre-like creature comes to mind. Or does it relate to trolling as in letting a fishing line follow behind a moving boat? 3xp14n4710n Pl0x?

What you have suggested breaks this part of the terms of service, although Microsoft don't really come down on people for that anymore after they realised lots of clans where making GT's that only had the clan members in. So although you are breaking the ToS you have nothing to worry about.

I'm not on 360, but you guys seem to be missing the "WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT" part in that.

If they agree to it, then it's fine. if they don't, they aren't going to make/accept the friend request. So it's actually not a violation of that part of the rules.

Of course, there's always the fact that having a list like that DOES allow you to circumvent the 100-friend limit (even if you're not actually doing so, it acts as a method to do so, which means it counts for the sake of rules).

You guys are so ignorant, you must find every reason to get someone in trouble, and get there topic locked. What a sad life you live, actually searching through the Xbox Live terms to try and get his thread locked, very very sad. He's trying to do something that HASN'T been done before, but can't because of you. He's just trying to help people that have a full friends list, and want to group with some non randoms that they might learn to know.

Seems like this is getting blown way out of proportion, the guy is just trying to provide an alternate way to find people to play brink with

what i'm doing doesnt break that rule. i'm not harvesting or collecting information without anyones consent.
you have to add the gamertag thus giving your consent. genius you are.

anyways i'm just trying to bring like minded brink players together. the only real similarity this thread has to the others.
you will notice i havent gone in those threads sturring up trouble like others have here.
if you dont like it then dont add the gamertag pretty simple.
if your mad then stay that way life too short to be hatin all day.

*sigh*

Note: We can and do warn for randomly calling others trolls because you don't agree with their posts.

This thread seems problematic, closing for now, will review.
