Will this work as a Tactic?

Hey well my clan decided to go with something like this.
This is my clans idea for tactics.

Idea for a squad
Dark_Star Today at 4:43 pm

I think that the most important factor in the success of a squad is having a set up that will give us the flexibility to respond quickly and efficiently to changes on the battlefield. Once again since I haven’t played yet these are very loose ideas, I don’t think that there is going to be only one squad set up that will dominate all others.

I like the idea of assigning groups within the group, which will allow us to stay organized when the [censored] hits the fan.
I think there should be a heavy hitting group that can serve as our front line, giving out massive amounts of punishment as well as drawing the attention of the enemy. I think a good make up for this squad would be:
2 soldiers (Heavy or Med)
1 medic(heavy or med)
1 engineer (heavy or med)

Then there should be a 2nd lighter squad that is available to flank enemies, or fill in the gaps if the heavy squad starts going down. Also they could take care of secondary objectives. This “ninja crew” could have:
1 soldier(med / light)
1 medic (med)
1 engineer / Op (med / light)

The final slot should be an Op that is causing havoc / getting intel while the main squads draw the enemies fire. He can drop in to assist them when needed.

This set up would allow us to have a strong central core, with a flexible lighter squad available to fill in the weak spots as well protecting the flanks. We could also assign, who buffs who and etc allowing us to quickly recover after spawning

Interesting idea but not what Wraiths Legion has in their playbook.

Good Idea, though it will all depend on the map and the side you are on, if you are doing escorts, OPs will not be as required as a medic and so forth. Your squad is well balanced, the only thing that can compromise it is bad communication and being too spread out. (keep in mind the flaws are due to game play not squad setup.)

That's actually a very good idea.

I think something along the lines of this.
Attacker Mission

Squad 1: Frontlines
3 (1 heavy/2 medium) Soldiers to put down opposition obviously, the mediums for flanking
1 Medic for obvious reasons
1 Engineer to buff guns, and put turrets in high traffic areas

Squad 2: Center/ Enemy Discouragement/ Other frontline squad
This squad can be a very flexible squad and preform all 3 tasks.
1 Soldier for obvious reasons
1 light Medic to keep the soldier alive, and can also run back to squad 1 if worse comes to worse
1 Operative to flank enemies, put down a defending squad on the opposing team, and firewall command posts. The Op should not stray to far from the squad, and maybe even getting behind enemy lines, that way when squad 1 or squad 2 attacks, the operative can fire from the back

Defender Mission
Squad 1: Front lines
2 Soldiers to put down the opposition. I heavy to take down, and a flanker that's medium or light.
1 Medic will be able to heal members of the front line,

Squad 2: Defenders
2 Engineers to guard the main objective.
1 Medic to keep the engineers up and defending

Squad 3: Center/ Enemy discouragement
1 Operative, this one is to hack enemy turrets and command posts, also flank the enemies to stop them from pushing to hard on the defenders
1 Any class is suitable. A soldier can help keep the enemies off of the Operative. An engineer can buff his guns, and defend command posts, a medic can keep th Op up and running, and 2 Ops can hack quicker and more efficiently

It would work out well depending on what map you're currently playing on.

Well my opinion might be biased, but I like it! (Depending on the map / objectives at hand)
