Any mods that only improve NPC AI?

I've read mixed things about Combat Enhance Tactics, so I am wondering if there are any other simple mods that improve NPC AI (basically, make them act more strategically and w/ more self preservation instincts, obviously more with humans and mutants than with animals). Thanks.

Have you looked at http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11750 yet? It's been a staple in my load order for quite some time now.

That one works well, I've been using it now for quite some time. It makes being a Sniper much more interesting, no more picking them off one by one without them having a clue what's going on. Sometimes they'll even find me and attack if they expand their search radius far enough.

RKR is nice but it doesn't make them more self preserving though. I don't think there are any other standalone AI mods that do it either. The Realism Core module of Arwen's Realism Tweaks has very good AI improvements, but it changes a whole lot of other stuff as well. FWE has AI improvements too, but that changes even more.

That's the reason why I don't go for these overhauls. In order to get one change that you may like, you have to put up with a bunch of others that you don't really agree with. I much prefer a mod that deals with a specific part of the game and only changes that one aspect.

OK, I'm running FWE, so hopefully that combined with Responsive Kill Reactions will do the trick.
