Machinima Prop Building

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 9:30 am

Hey all.

I'm hoping to find somebody who can help me build props for the second season of a Fallout 3 Machinima series. You can find it here www.youtube.com/drakortha

Props like a custom sign that says "Water Merchants" or a solid object in-game with the F3 map printed on it. Small things like these make a big difference to the atmosphere of our series and we're in need of people who have the skills to help us make them.

If you're interested you can send me an email at drakorthaproductions@gmail.com. That is the best place to contact me as my inbox on here gets filled very frequently.

Thank you :)

If all you need are simple retextures I may be able to help you. I have enough ability within photoshop and gimp to do so. I can't actually make any new mesh objects.

Also, how did what I made for you earlier work out? I hope it wasn't too shabby. :)

It's working out great thanks Gunmaster :) We're still recording that scene.

The only custom texture we need right now is the game world map on a big sheet of paper. We'd like it sitting on a counter so that one of our character can lean over and look at it. To be more specific it needs to be on the counter in the gas station.

If you could do this for us it would be a big help :)

Hmm... I could try retexturing a day planner (the giant calender that you find scattered around) to have a map instead. The only issue with that is its not square like the map. And the map would be the green/black tone one from the pipboy. Would this do?

That should be fine. I think people would recognize it better anyway if it had the original colors.

Alright. When I get home I'll take a peak at it and see what I can come up with.
