DCInteriors Project, Dupont Circle, Fairfax Ruins

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 12:35 am

Thank you for your offer of assistance. I was using WinRAR to unzip the file. I downloaded 7z, used that, and everything then seemed to work. Again, thanks, much appreciated.

Glad to hear you've gotten it working properly.

I'm most likely going to post my newest update tomorrow, (It will not be the final update for the mod, but it will be the final one for a bit.) This update will contain some balance fixes along side of some texture and, other minor fixes. I was putting it off until I saw if there were any other major or, minor fixes needed.

With the release of New Vagus only a week away I want to get out the most stable and, up to date versions because, I'm going to take off some time to simply play the new game before beginning a new project "The NVInteriors Project" or, continuing to work on "The DCInteriors Project".

Ether way I decide to go, be assured I'll continue to support and, update this mod.

I also want to say as we are starting a new beginning, I do truly appreciate everyones input, support and, feedback, negative or, positive it was always helpful. I only hope that with any new mod I take on it can and, will be as well received by the community. All of you have ben incredibly inspirational and, the real driving force behind "DCInteriors".

thanks all

Cev is the awesomest! Seriously!

Gawd... I can't wait to see if he gets the TV's to work! Holy man! I wanna be sitting around in my post apocalyptic dump, watching some old re-run of Leave it to Beaver or something! That would just... just... I would never stop playing this game again. Until I finally get enough money to buy New Vegas...

That will never happen, it would be a clear violation of copyright regulations. Any TV that gets shown would have to be made up by the author or made available with someone's consent. Original television broadcasts would be illegal.

You, Sir and/or Madame... are a spoil sport.

Moreover, you are a jerkface... a lame-o... and and a trowel. (I wanted a garden implement OTHER than hoe... as hoe would not quite accurately describe your dream-crushing aptitude to it's fullest extent. In the end, I selected trowel. It doesn't really do much better of a job describing your evil, evil ways... but I do like the word TROWEL... so I guess you might take that as my one and only compliment in this entirely-fake-anger 'attack'.)

First of all, I happen to -have- clips of some copyrighted things which, by all accounts, I legally obtained through the purchasing of such legal clips and things. That being said, I could EASILY put them into my OWN game, not re-distribute it, and be PERFECTLY within my rights. Those rights, of course, being 'so long as we don't see it, or don't care... you're good'.

Secondly, it was a FLAVOUR comment. The Beav' and them are all part of that 50's culture pulp. To go on about COPYRIGHT infringement in response to a sentence written in order to inspire Nostalgia... is entirely asinine and worthless. Even moreso, considering that now someone has had to make a comment in order to rectify the situation.

Now, for something completely different...

No, really, though, Cev... awesomeness! Pure, entirely-advlterated awesomeness!

Can't wait to see this in action. I'm gonna watch SOOO MUCH nothing of any consequence on these TV's.

This is a must for NV, as it too has lots of barred doors.

Just visited No Exit the other day with my Lone Wanderer. Got the Gibson! Yay!

Hey Mr. Steel

You are probably off in New Vegas like all the rest (leaving this forum to be the true wasteland).

Anyway - just reporting a mod conflict - the new interior you placed in the small destroyed neighborhood near Tenpenny Tower ... Robin place or something. Anyway that door conflicts with http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6270 which also places a door there.

Have to angle the door just right to get into the CUBE dungeon.

No, the US extended their copyright protection to 75 years. Since Leave it to Beaver last aired in 1963, that would make 2028 the time that it becomes public domain. Still awhile to wait.
