What are dynamic idles ?

Anyone know what the "dynamicIdle" group is?

Per the Wiki Special Idle means that the game attempts to play the file across the entire skeleton and uses priorities to determine what bones, if any, of the animation currently playing are overridden by the Idle Animation.

But what the heck are dynamic idles ?

I took a look at some and here's what I'm seeing.

Dynamic idles tell the game how to interact with statics. For instance, you would use a dynamic idle to tell an npc how to sit down on a chair. Then you could use a normal idle or special idle once on the chair. The dynamic idle gets the npc from some other position, near the chair, to sitting.

I don't know if they have any special priority over other idles by default, but the bone priority in them is generally high.

Thank you very very much Compulsion. You went "above and beyond" the effort I would have hoped for on this.

If you do not mind I will basically cut and past your information into the CS wiki.
