I have W7 and PhotoShop Elements 7.0.

I have DDS2 Converter2 and I have issues with it.

I can convert dds to pds with no problems. When I do the other way around convert from pds to dds I get this 'DDS2 Converter 2 has stopped working'

I follow the instruction how to us it by the letter including reading the read me.

Is there any other?

Try using GIMP, with the appropriate DDS plugin. I found it was much better working with DDS files than Photoshop.

First, I assume you really meant .psd rather than .pds. From my own experience and what I've heard from others DDS Converter 2 is quite reliable. The first thing I would suggest is try saving your file to be converted in either .png or .tga format. If that doesn't work, you can try reinstalling DDS Converter 2 or get Paint.Net. Paint.Net is free and can import and export all .dds formats directly. AFAIK the NVIDIA DDS plug-in for PhotoShop does not work with Elements.
