Rut: a narrow or predictable way of life, set of attitudes, etc.; dreary or undeviating routine.
I could be mistaken, but I think this is what OP means. What's the longest that we have been stuck in a rut; the rest of the post I don't get either  .
My longest is sadly almost 8 months now./ Get up, come home, turn on computer, eat, go to bed. Rinse and repeat. Here's hoping springtime will bring some change to this routine.
Too damn long, someone always seriously ill or something always broken. Tried a vacation last October, and came home from it to part of downed tree on the neighbors roof. We work hard, and as soon as we get some safety net, a bit of comfort, some bright spot where we can see the end of the tunnel, the tunnel roof caves in. I'm just tired of trying.
Wake up, Talk to Ex Girlfriends, Go to School, Tell Girl I have crush on Hi, DO school, come home, eat, play games, avoid homework, sleep, rinse, repeat. This has been going on for 3 months.

Still stuck in a bit of a rut, but i'm getting better. Would say my longest running rut is probably 1 to 2 years at the very least. Get into that groove where you just don't feel like doing anything and it can progress to depression. I'm still depressed myself, but as said i'm getting better and starting to get out of that rut. Hope you get out of your rut OP it's tough to do however you'll feel better once you're out of it.
Been in a rut for two years, my son died because the area I was in could not spare any medication and because he died my wife left me, I got wounded two months later and got shipped to the U.S. and recently got fired from my job and havn't gotten paid... I also cannot return to my home (Bahrain) for three years while I recover (Which I already did a year ago), and am out of a job.
I have a rut in my backyard, I have no idea how it got there. Since water pools in it when it rains, I planted sunflowers there today. Now the birds wont have to go far to [censored] on my vehicles. See, I'm working with it!!
