The Old Republic

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 4:24 am

Hi guys. here were going to talk about everything related the upcoming Bioware MMO Starwars The Old Republic.

Also i will take the occasion and advertise that I made a guild called Seven Samurai in the republic faction of the upcoming MMO starwars the old republic. removed

I'm inviting you guys to join it if youre going to pre-order or buy the game when its out. we decided to inspire our set of rules on the Bushido because we think its an admirable way of life.
Also, the name has a double meaning. the first: its the name of an awesome movie.second: there is 7 virtues to the bushido so the number 7 is pretty symbolic.

Anyway i hope you guys will make an account on the website and join my guild.

Well... we can make this a TOR topic. I was just thinking about this. If there's any other MMO I try it will be TOR. Assuming I get it I'll most likely roll up a Scoundrel or Imperial Agent.

Uh by the looks of it, but they can utilize a cover based system and lots of rolling and dodging. With a gunslinger specialization you know it's going to be good.

Oh well. They'd turn an enormous profit without monthly fees, servers aren't why they have them.

Edit: Assuming it sells like a typical BioWare game.

Yea well every class seem to be pretty versatile. the troopers has a DPS and a Tank build and stuff like that.

ps. join mah guild =D removed

@capital they wouldnt make profit in the end because of servers if there was not monthly fees but anyway an mmo is a game that you put as much time as an elder scrolls game on so its worth paying monthly in my book

Don't over do it with the advertising or your going to get a report. This is a "TOR" topic, or it will be locked by the mods heat seeking missile.

No it isn't, you already had your request in the original post. You don't need to keep spamming it. Signatures are there for whatever you want (within limits). Not my rules, take em up with the moderators if you care to disagree.

Well Gamgee was only trying to help, but if you don't care about your own thread, feel free to get it closed. You'd have no one else to blame but yourself for not reading the rules. We're big on that here.

i dont see why my thread would get locked for a something i was saying as a joke. you guys seem to take yourself veryseriously because you have a bunch of stars under your name. keep in mind that you are not a mod and its not your job to put people in place.

Because we know the rules... having been here so long.

Or at least see the actions mods usually take.... Which is why other people are suggesting making it a general thread about The Old Republic.

It's called trying to help you prevent getting your thread locked. You advertised it once, and that's fine because this thread is about the game, not about advertising your clan. But if you keep posting an advertisemant every 10 posts for your clan you're just asking for it to get locked. And you can try to say you're joking all you like, however there are rules and inside those rules it does specify that advertising is not allowed and that it will result in a lock. Nobody is mad at you, or at least they weren't before you started getting all hostile. If you think that people trying to help you survive on this forum are just arrogant mod-wannabes then fine, think what you like. But for someone trying to attract people to his clan you sure are eager to alienate them instead.

Also, if you still feel it necessary to judge people based on the number of stars they have then I'd be happy to sign on with my other account that has 0 stars if it'll make you feel better.

Gamgee warned you once, then when you tried to justify your advertising he warned you a bit harder. The first actual hostility came when you said "are you realy that mad about a forum post? its that important to you? if you feel like that i will just stop arguing because its not worth it with people like you." Or do you think that's not hostile?
