Are there any recommended mods lists?

As the topic asks. I've been away from Fallout 3 for a while, and would like to know if there are any recommended mods lists.

Thanks.

This isn't a list, and its a shameless plug, but check out the mod in my signature. Everyone who has played it has loved it, so it can't be too bad, right?

I'm kinda adding in the question.
Was gonna post it myself, but was beat to it.

I'm playing fallout 3 for a while now, but I feel mods are always a good thing.
But is there a "list" or a good reference point for 1?

And I'd rather not see my save broken, so ... that's another matter ^^

I hope Maloon doesn't mind me snurching his thread for my purposes. :blush2:

I finished Vanilla Fallout 3 yesterday and am going to install the GOTY DLC today. I also downloaded the Unofficial F3 Patch(version 1.2.0).

I basically have two questions.

1. Is there a good weather Mod to download? I would like to have rain like there was in Oblivion. Also, snow, fog, sandstorms, perhaps thunder and lightning even! It would have to be compatible with the official 1.7 and Unofficial 1.2.0 patches of course.

2. Is there any particular order these have to be loaded? I have seen numerous instances where people mention a "load order". What exactly is that? Can I install the Unofficial Patch and Weather Mod just by the regular method of installing a downloaded file or is there a special program I have to use? I just want to play the game as quickly and painlessly as possible. :happy:

LOL! I guess that ended up being more than 2 questions. :blush:

@shadowshiv:

Read through the stickied Fallout 3 Mods FAQ thread at the top of this forum to get a basic grasp of applying mods.

Tip: Successful and satisfying use of mods requires lots of reading! Don't be impatient... go slow read the readmes.

I guess it is already too late for my impatience(otherwise I would have looked at that FAQ first). :facepalm:

Thanks for the tips though.:)
