the strangest dungeon or room you have seen in Daggerfall

Mine would have to be a room in a dungeon deep underground that had the underside of a roof.

That's not at all strange. The entrance clearly shows you walked down some stairs. You don't know how long those stairs were.

I always thought the teleports were strange. Why have them show up as red-brick walls? The orange-brown tunnels where you can't climb the stairs without jumping are also a bit weird. Nothing else in the dungeons matches their look.

ive had that too. There was also a red brick wall in the middle of the room with no support, when you went against it,you died.

The strangest dungeon i found was half submersed in water. I was walking somewhere when a trap triggered and the floor collapsed. I noticed i was falling into that dungeon block that is mostly open space and with 4 suspended passages on each side of a vertical tower. When i fall to the water bellow i couldn't see the walls because of the fog or the ceilling and there was water all around me. That was scaring and amusing.

Daggerfall had some pretty interesting dungeons. Many dungeons I have encountered have had a huge pyramid in a large room with a giant hole beneath it.

I always found it strange that when you activate elevators in dungeons they can go up and down without support from the walls. It's as if they're floating in mid-air...

My strange room was a verticle elevator corridor with no elevator, and wooden bars at the very top of a long climb. And the only way past them, was to climb up a specific wall and slip in between one of the wooden bars. In this room was a bunch of giants with their own personal library... Go figure.

(Aliotroph?) I always thought the teleports were strange. Why have them show up as red-brick walls?

Could you please explain to me, what exactly are those strange brick walls? I've tried interacting with the few I've come across in almost every way that I can think of. I would have never figured they were teleports...

some are just bricked up doors, soem teleports you to another brickwall, others just kill you. cant think of any other explanation then that.

its a magic world.

and my personal favourite i saw last night was a big room inside a grotto dungeon with 3 skeletons, 1 pig in a cage, 2 cows in a pen and haystacks + tools.

why would undead skeletons have a farm inside a dungeon?

I've had that exact same situation! In the barn that you were in was there this door that said "Nothing of Value" on one of the barn walls? As if you were in a town or something?

I have run into a few of these brick walls, all did nothing. So what you are telling me is that some of these can just instantly kill me?? That's terrrible...

Generally the ones standing in the middle of a room seem to be the killers, but sometimes those are teleports. Save before trying to use them. hehe The ones that don't do anything are often teleport exit points. Some dungeons can only be navigated using those teleports.
