Weird Fuzzy Texture on Downloaded Mod

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 3:45 am

Hey i need help. I recently downloaded a mod for Warhammer Armor but when i tested it in the game it kept doing some weird shifty thing where it goes between a few different textures like Marble Texture on second then solid white and phasing in between about 3 different texture styles. So have i installed it wrong or what?

The way i installed it was i got the mesh and textures folders from the mod and fused them with the ones in the Fallout Data Directory. Also placed the .esp files below the folders.

The textures cannot be found where the NIF mesh file says they are. It could be the person who made the mod could have hardcoded the entire path to the textures (which is bad) and you do not have the game installed in the same place.
Or, you do not have the textures in the correct location.

Thanks for your answer.
So would you recommend reinstalling the game or completely discarding the mod?

It depends on the true cause of the problem.

You could fix the NIF mesh file yourself if thats the problem.
Or you need to install the textures to the correct game location as outlined by the mod readme file.
