I did everything http://static.gamesas.com/downloads/games/daggerfall_legal_and_installation.pdf guide told me to, but the game won't start.

It says:

Error: Looks like you entered the wrong CD. Please insert your Daggerfall CD in your cdrom and try again.

After I type dagger when I previously mounted the files.

Before typing dagger, try to issue commands:

D:
dir

Normally it must show the contents of your DF mounted "CD-ROM". If it doesn't, you did something wrong.


There must be a config file somewhere in your installation folder. It has paths to folders on the CD. Make sure they point exactly where your mounted CD appears to be in DOSBox.

Some things are case sensitive, so when you mount that folder as your CD drive make sure you properly capitalize the Daggerfall label.
