Ancient novice needs help.

I want to create a small mod using helbornes Elven Tomb Resource. I've loaded the meshes & textures into oblivion folder as per readme file......but how do I get access to them in the construction kit. Told you it was a basic question, but I really am very new to this.

In the CS, select Static > Architecture in the Object window. Then in Explorer select the mesh files and drag them onto the the list of architecture objects in the CS. You should now have a 'Helborne' folder under 'Architecture' (assuming you kept Helborne's folder structure).

You can also right-click on an object and select 'New' but this is very slow for large collections.

Thanks for prompt response wetblanket. Simple when you know how, eh? Will give it a go over weekend when I get some spare time.

OK. Tried your suggestions. Right-clicking and selecting 'New' works a treat, but for life of me can't drag folders into CS. I grab the mesh files, drag them across.....nothing happens. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong? Should the CS object window be active? If so how do I keep it that way whilst selecting from Explorer? Duh....what a dummy! Told you I was new to this. All sorted, thanks again for help.

Glad you worked it out. This modding lark isn't terribly intuitive so don't be too hard on yourself :)
