no no you people are making a mistake

those items arent all the equipment you can carry, those are only the favorite ones, remember that todd says that we have got a favorite items menu.

But Todd also said that we can have unlimited favourites, no? That would mean we can clutter our bodies up until we become a walking body of weapons, or on a more serious note it should only be the first few favourites that show up.

Only if you can be pick-pocketed by NPC's. :deal:

I'm pretty sure no one is brave enough to try to steal it from my rogue argonian, he'll be sure to pay back in blood :)

I'm pretty sure that what you see is the 2nd weapon set. A lot of RPGs have two weapon sets you can quickly switch between.
If every weapon in your inventory or favorites menu or whatever was shown on your body it would be a huge clipping mess of stuff, and that would just be ridiculous.

Well, looking at this picture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/47857688@N08/5436395760/sizes/o/in/set-72157626024834946/

There is definitely 4 Draugrs... One with the sword up front, the axe guy in the middle, the guy with spear/axe thing right next to the guy int he middle, and one behind the axe guy.

If you look at the one supposed to have a bow hanging, you can see an arm just above the "bow" and on the left side of him an arm with an axe.

Or the guy has 4 arms.

But yeah, it could still be a bow hanging on his back, just sayin' there's four of 'em.

makes lots of sense to have a quick select between some weapons, switch to bow is the most obvious. switch to a common spell like heal is another obvious, and in the process switch to a sword or dagger. who has other benefits like higher sneak multiplier.

Yeah, but you can also see that the one in the back is holding an axe in one hand, so unless you can dual wield a bow and an axe, the bow has to be hanging on the draugr's back. In it's position, the bow doesn't look like the one behind is wielding it anyway.

Has this a 100% been confirmed anywhere?

Untill i know for sure, then i say no.
Because there are other screen shots that don't show what you did with the original pic.
It could also just be the design of that enemy.
You may have a point, but i wouldn't get carried away yet, just in case.

There's screens that don't show dragons too --- does that mean they might not be in the game :P

But sure, it might be it's just the design of one enemy. But if that one enemy has it, they'd have to make the animation for that one enemy to draw that bow from his back too, and why would they do that for only one enemy, when they could easily add it to the actor too? .... Seriously, it can' t be that hard to slap on an extra slot somewhere on the actor's body so that we can have what we want. :)

I know what your saying, and i kinda agree with what you said above.
I really hope your right, hell you probably are right, but like i said, some other screens don't give you any indication that it's a given.
I do notwant to burst your happy bubble my friend...i'm trying to see it two ways, before i get excited myself

Haven't been able to figure out what is behind http://static.zenimax.com/bethblog/upload/2011/02/167198_10150099679227809_103316012808_6163793_1100254_n.jpg. Almost looks like a stringless bow.

Sure, I know I can't take it as solid fact just yet ;)

Anyway, this is just (relatively) trivial thing --- it would take much more than this being disproved to burst my happy bubble :D

@JDills .... you mean the dragon's tail? .... :rolleyes:

Dragon tail.

If a bow was stringless it would be a bit straighter.

I don't have the magazine but I'm assuming it continues on the back page? That would explain it.

No, but there's a more complete version of that picture in the Norwegian mag, and there you can clearly see that it's a tail (as if it wasn't clear enough from that shot) :teehee:
