I have a question about pokemon, jsut bought black cause I know I'll love it. Played red/blue/yellow and gold.
Whats platinum? is that like diamond and pearl combined? How about soulsilver and heartgold, are those like the same as silver and gold but remade?

Platinum is the Deluxe edition of Diamond/Pearl, For lack of a better word. It adds Battle frontier, and expands on other areas. It kept me playing a lot better than Diamond did.
Heartgold and Soul Silver are Remakes,but also at the same time are quite different, so if you liked Gen II, I say definitely go for these.
Getting some Generation IV games might be a good idea, so you could transfer 1st-4th Gen pokemon into Unova.

The Pokemon games tend to have rather simple, but fun plots. Black and White actually has a slightly more detailed plot beyond defeating the Gym Leaders and becoming Champion. As for online play, every Gen IV and after game has it.

My 3DS will arrive on Friday, and I am trying to decide on whether I should get MGS or Cave Story.
