What body mods are mostly used now?

Honestly, Bab doesn't get quite the attantion it deserves. IMO, anyway. It's probably still my overall favourite. And some of the clothing and armour available for it... (and no, not necessarily like that, either!) :)

I totally agree. Of course all the body mods have their flaws and Bab has a long list of them, but it is still the only female body mod I am interested in using. It suits my characters and fits nicely into the game world - doesn't dominate the picture the way HGEC does.

Bab's big edge over some of the other bodies is arms, legs, hands and feet. And those are the parts of the body that are usually visible for my toons . Don't get me wrong, I like skimpy armours that show a lot of skin, but panties and pasties doesn't even come close to what I want.

Bab has suffered from not having a lot of armour and clothing that was specifically made for the Bab body. Some of the Exnem/HGEC stuff doesn't translate well because the body lines are so different. Even in Bab Final some of the armours were poorly converted and you get these big gaps between the armour and the body, but it's not the body that is the problem.

From my own experience, if I make a mesh that follows the natural lines of the Bab body the results are very satisfying. It is the difference between made-to-measure and off-the-rack. So what I think Bab needs to go head to head against HGEC is new clothing and armour that is made specifically for Bab.

TGND I haven't tried yet, but it does look very nice in the screen shots. The improvement in the arms hands wrists is immediately noticeable. If I were going to do anything with HGEC (convert my Navatar mod?) I would probably take a closer look at TGND.

True that. I did recently find a fix for the Leather or "theif" greaves for BAB. You can get it here: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16031 It's not perfect, but pretty close and it fixes that glaring gap that was there; I just wish they had done more armor.

The default folder for the archive didn't work (it had put it in "meshes\Armor\thief\"), however and I had to move the file to the proper folder:
" ... \Oblivion\Data\meshes\Armor\thief\f " (depending on your install folder)

It worked for me: http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a400/Elricwolf/Oblivion%20screens/ScreenShot1112.jpg , http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a400/Elricwolf/Oblivion%20screens/ScreenShot1102.jpg

Well i tried TGND, but i think i'll stick with HGEC. I already play with an antrophomorphic cat shooting fireballs out of her fingerstips, so might as well have her body shape be "fantatstic" too :hubbahubba:

Still, TGND is nice work, the hands do look much better than with HGEC.
