I love this mod, but it has a few issues that were never worked out. As far as I can tell, the original author stopped working on it. Does anyone know of an unofficial update, or even another mod that does something similar?

I'm pretty sure it's entirely included in Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, and has been updated a number of times in that mod.

If you don't want OOO, it might be possible to backcopy the changes to the original files.

Oh really? I've actually been thinking about installing OOO. I need a little more info on it, but I might just start a new game with it.
