[censored], I say! Adjusting your life to avoid remembering your past is to admit defeat to what you let haunt you. Do what you want, enjoy it, and don't waste time on any manner of negativity.

Besides, there are a lot of asshats with Y chromosomes. At this point, guys everywhere will remind you of every other asshat you've met. Kinda like splashing around in puddles and trying to not get wet.

You need to write a relationship book.

I need to write a lot of books. However, I hate writing. Just ask, I'll answer. I've got a lot of life experiences for my age, and a head that's screwed on better than most. I like giving advice, but I don't throw it at everyone who has a problem. Too presumptuous.

Best of luck in your relationship, hun. Make sure he treats you how a man should.

Do you ever think you might have a type then? Because I literally know no one like this - mainly because it bugs the hell out of me so I avoid people who are like that. :shrug:

For me, personally, I like a lot of different things:
I like overweight guys, Yes
I like guys with glasses Yes
I like guys who definitely fall into the geek catagory Yes
I like guys who don't want to go out partying but would rather stay at home and shoot zombies with me Yes and No. I don't like partying out, but I don't drink.
I like guys who are a little socially awkward Yes
I like guys who don't want to snuggle at nighttime (gorram it I wanna sleep!!) No]Awww I like to snuggle.

But saying that there's a lot of 'typical' things I like too:
I like dark hair and dark eyes Yes brown hair No Blue eyes
I like a guy with ambition. No[/b[
I like a guy with a sense of humour Yes
I like a guy who's thoughtful and will think of me randomly through the day Yes
I like a guy who appreciates I'm a clean freak (he doesn't have to be but he's got to live with the fact that I am) Yes
I like a guy who's confident enough that he's not going to freak out if another guy flirts with me [b]Yes

Well I have a few Nos, but mostly yesses. Do I have a chance? Do I have to swim over the ocean or will you fly over?

I think by "shoot zombies" she meant literally shoot video game zombies, not some fancy drink name.

Edit: Either that or she has some real ones down in her basemant, and prefers a man who can help her finally get rid of them rather than waste time partying. :shrug:
