Your favourite Youtube channels

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 9:46 am

I'm a big fan of Nigahiga, Smosh, Machinima, Nice Peter, Jon Lajoie and The Annoying Orange. I used to be a Ray William Johnson fan back when he was funny, but now I find Equals Three boring and repetitive and YourFavoriteMartian just plain lame, so I've unsubscribed from both channels. If I was to pick one favourite channel, it'd probably be Nigahiga. I'm glad he's the most subscribed Youtuber. He really deserves to be ahead of the likes of RWJ, Shane Dawson and Fred.

So, what Youtubers do you like?

I used to find RWJ funny, but I haven't laughed at any of his videos for a good year or so now. But I still watch him because the viral videos are usually still funny, even if he isn't. I also watch Ashens and SecretAgentBob. I watch many more but those are just the ones I watch that update the most frequently with new videos.

Also, even when I liked him I always got the impression Ray was very cocky. I never found him likeable, but the older episodes were so well put together that I still watched him. Remember Sunny D & Rum? That was Ray at his finest. Then I don't know what happened, but it all went downhill.

http://www.youtube.com/user/TheOnion. Found them a week or so ago, definitely some of the best stuff on Youtube.
http://www.youtube.com/user/thenewboston. His Python tutorials taught me a lot about programming and I couldn't imagine where I'd be without them.

We already kind of have a YouTube thread, but I'll bite.

The only channel I even have bookmarked is http://www.youtube.com/user/KouOgata#p/a/u/1/vihXtuhi87o He does all these cool Celtic/Irish versions of songs by himself, using like 4 instruments and then splicing the videos together to make a quartet.

Totalbiscuit is awesome, I especially enjoy his Starcraft 2 casts :)

I already knew Python when I found his channel but his Java tutorials are great.
