Anyone else hate xbox.com?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 12:03 pm

The Red Dead Redemption facebook page announced today that the Undead Nightmare collection (with the other 2 DLC) is on sale until April 4th - I was thinking of buying it anyway, so with it on sale I definitely want to get it. The trouble is, my xbox is at university and I'm at home until after April 4th, so the only way I can buy it is on xbox.com. Unfortunately, there's so much flashy crap on each page that I can't get the 'buy points' page to load, and other pages take ages - is there any way to have it load without all the crap? I'm on Firefox, I'll try opening it in chrome in case it's quicker, but I don't hold out much hope. Anyone else annoyed by the site?

Edit: Actually, it did work in Chrome, maybe Firefox makes it load slower

You can call them.

So, a long time ago I had to use someone elses credit card to get Xbox Live. I could not take that damned credit card off the account, so I called Microsoft and they said that I would need to have the card in front of me and be the card holder in order to take the card off the account. No lies this is what they said. I called back later on in the day and gave them the I'm a child and its my grandparents credit card card, there was no hesitation on their part to take that credit card info off the account... This was a few years ago. I hope their policies have changed since.
