Dispose corpse

Oh? Was the "dispose corpse" thing to free memory?

Wow! that never even crossed my mind! I just think dead bodies are untidy!

This.

I'd like to see the bodies decompose over the course of a few game days, maybe leaving their inventory behind in case you didn't loot them. However, this would have to be done well, unlike some games. (*cough*Dragon Age*cough*)

Why don't we let Bethesda handle this. Maybe they've developed a new technology along with the new engine...

On a side note, my save game in Dragon Age was over 200mb (288mb to be precise) and yet I never had problems, so... I guess we'll wait and see.

I didn't mean a grave suddenly appears, I meant that each town has a graveyard, and a few days after corpse decay occurs, a new grave appears in the graveyard for the NPC that perished. We could go pay our respects if one of our NPC companions perished.

IIRC, Shivering Isles did something like this, but it was somewhat clumsily implemented. You'd often see their gravestone outside the town while the actual NPC was still dead in the streets somewhere.

Sure, it's good to have. After a few days either the city sanitation workers, mafia, or critters will do a job on the bodies anyways. So it's doubly good: realistc, and memory saving! (although I'm not sure how much memory it will save

Well, it might be some Kb of memory, but it's better to save those for item hoarding.

I agree. The other thing I'd like is graveyards that grow if people die. I want to go see Glarthir's grave.

Like the grave yard in Shivering Isles?

I would like to see this. Funerals would be cool too but not needed.

Idea: If NPC corpses are not properly buried, they will raise as zombies!

I would rather like have Sriggans than having ennemies we kill come beck to life.
