Making Arena run smooth.

Hey guys I need some help.

I already set the cycles in the configuration folder to 15000 yet Arena still doesn't run smooth.

Any other tips?

On my config, I have my DOSbox set to Auto on Emulation Core, and then Max on CPU Cycles. If that doesn't work out for you, try setting Emulation Core
to Dynamic. If that does work, but makes the game run too quickly, just press the - or = sign buttons (next to the backspace key) from within the game,
until you have your desired run speed.

Hopefully that'll get the game running for you. Just remember to set your CPU Cycles to max. For some reason 15,000 cycles doesn't work for me either, or
any amount of cycles higher than that.

I can't speak to Arena, but for Daggerfall most people seem to set "cycles=max" in their DOSbox config. Core is usually set to auto. One thing with Daggerfall is it glitches if the cycles go too high. Therefore, my config says "cycles = max limit 60000." I don't know if Arena has glitches if the number goes too high. The glitches in Daggerall involve movement and climbing not working properly.
