I'd probably fall down if someone threw a flaming bottle of gas at me...Molotovs shouldn't be that much of a problem. If anything, they seem like a good area denial weapon.

In the Get Smart Seres Objective when a solider throws a Molotov at the robot thing (the engy escort) it seemed to me that the knockdown radius is pretty big. And you can knock down your own team with it.

I think it makes perfect sense. Even if the person is not burning in the game, because ... well ... it's a game.
