Can't remember the last time I bought something from a convenience store other than gum or to fill up the car with gas (not my car).

Surprisingly, the hot dogs and Taquitos at 7-11 are pretty decent. And the melted cheese + chilli sauce =

The taquitos are pretty meh. They're too small and not filled enough.

If I get convenience store food, I don't get the stuff they make. I get something like http://www.hormelfoods.com/brands/hormel/HormelCompleats.aspx.

The Daily's gas station has excellent coffee. They also have an in-store Subway sandwich shop, so sometimes when I gas up, I get a fresh made sub for lunch.
Other than that, I don't eat convenience store food.

The most digustion thing I bought from a convience store was Tonic water. It smelled great like Sprite but it literally tasted like dirt, but it will still addictive for some reason.

Tonic water is not soda water and is completely different from Sprite/Lemonade.

Tonic water is sweetened soda water with quinine dissolved in it, giving it a rather bitter taste that works well with gin.

I've found Japan and Europe to have convenience store food that is orders of magnitude better than what is acceptable in the US.

Among my favorites are the yakiniku "kome-sando" (yaki-niku flavored rice sandwiches) at AM/PM in japan and almost any sort of pannini you can get at a gas station in Italy.

I think the lollipops htey sell at the convience store I go to are alright. Theyre only 15 cents per one of them, so with 5 bucks you could buy out theyre stock of them. But they arnt too shabby.

I stay far away from convenience store food.

An excellent choice, if you ask me. And why? I work at one. Some are alright. You still have to check what your buying. Things like milk and eggs will most likely be good, but some other stuff... not so much. I used to go up and down shelves cleaning the dust off of items, to give you an example. I could go on, but I don't want to make anyone nauseous.

Just wipe off that can of pop before putting it up to your mouth next time. Trust me.

What chain? The 7-11's around here are pretty popular, I can't see much of the stock sitting for too long.

Oh, chain stores like 7-11 and Mac's Milk are probably okay, depending on who runs it. It's more the family-operated ones that you want to be careful of.
