Throughout Tamriel, many different types of regions are found.
Which is/are your favorite/s?

I really enjoyed exploring the Manic side of the Shivering Isles, and the Demented was interesting as well. Also, the area surrounding Chorrol, Skingrad, Cheydinhall/South Bruma, and the border Cyrodrill shares with Elsweyr and Vvardenfell were also very enjoyable landscapes.

Like you sort of included, a big part of the landscape is the architecture and society that inhabits it.

For me the winner is the Telvanni towers. Those giant mushroom towers were alien, mystical, architecturally interesting.

Forgot about those, nothing can quite match the wonder I felt when I arrived at a Telvanni-controlled settlement for the first time, I think it was...oh jeez it's been so long, what's the name of the settlement that has that insane Telvanni mouth or something there, and a group of rebels outside the city trying to overthrow her? Man, I'm gonna go play some Morrowind

I've always been partial to Morrowind's grazelands region, it reminds me of home. Although I'm also rather fond of the Jerall mountains in Cyrodiil too.

Since Solstheim wasn't on there, I chose Skyrim.

The Great Forest is my favorite region in any Elder Scrolls game. I'm so glad Bethesda abandoned that bit of ill-conceived lore and turned much of Cyrodiil into heavily forested land.

The Gold Coast, it's so beautiful, the sea, the golden grass and yellow tones blending with the blue sky!

Great, now I want to replay Oblivion

I've never seen it before, but The Great Forest seems more my style.

I would like to add the flowered meadows near Cheydinhal. Especially nice at sunset :)

What do you mean by "a bustling town like the Imperial City"???

Really don't see what's so bustling about it ...

I voted Shivering Isles. There's nothing like a trip to the Shivering Isles! Cyrodiil was lacklustre in comparison --- and very uninspired. I'll play Morrowind soon and tell you what I think of it.

Hehe, yeah. I don't really have a favorite terrain. Its all what I happen to be craving at that particular moment in time. Sometimes I want to see the Fjords of Skyrim or the freezing tundra, other times I crave to ride my horse across the wastelands in Hammerfell. Its not that I really don't have a preference, but simply I love all terrains and environments in some way or another. I love both variety, and yet expansive landscapes. So when I'm in a desert, I want to feel like the desert stretches for miles. But eventually I'm going to end up somewhere different if I just keep traveling.

I would like to see forests like the 1 in LOTR where the elves live.

With birdies and animamals.

And I like the beaches of the Unique landscapes mod.

Phantom Seagull anyone? Yeah you know what Im talking about.

I mostly like the Shivering Isle, bustling towns and cities, the Great Forest and frozen mountains such as the Jerrell Mountains.
