Matchmaker guild.

 when I first saw matchmaking I thought it meant rounding a group of people to go brave a dungeon and then everyone whining and getting into arguments and when something goes wrong someone leaves...

I'd much rather have other types of guilds and factions over this one.

A matchmaker quest could be fun. I don't think it warrants a whole guild.

Very true sir. But let me ask you this. The smoke has cleared the dragons are slain and you've stopped the apocalyps. What now?

The game ends.Even if it would still continue, hell no.

No.
I would prefer if there was Merchant Guild that requires high Speechcraft and Mercantile.
Way more interesting and useful.

Not me.

Me either. I would rather have Speechcraft in general improved, instead of it being given another flimsy and easily forgotten/avoided use. Give us the ability to lie more often in quests, similar to Fallout. I hated that in Oblivion, you could be a thief, an assassin, or just an infamous murderer but if you wanted to do anything you always had to be fully honest with everyone, about everything. Hell, let us lie to anyone to gain a temporary follower, even if it is just to lure one person away from a building or get help in a fight. Just make it a speechcraft skill check.

That could be fun. Maybe it could just be something you can do rather than a formal guild. I'm imagining a guild having some kind of super-serious Ranis Athrys-type character who's only interested in collecting membership dues, shutting down unlicenced trainers, and fighting the rival faction. Finding a match for them would be the guild's hardest and final quest.

Only if the questline ends with getting Alduin married.
