it was said that the decision you make at the begining will affect how the game is. does that mean like just that battle or literally the story line?
if it was the story line i could see that being difficult with multiplayer.

I think they were being slightly dramatic. Basically your picking what side your start the story as, and you'll get a completely different view based on what faction your playing. However since you don't have to play in order and can swap back and forth, it is really as big of a choice as they make it out to be.

I think you are confused. the only decision you make at the beginning is what side you will be on, the security or the resistance. since they are different teams, the story is adjusted to the context of your team, i.e. the resistance is told that the security is stealing their medicine, and the security is told the resistance is making a bioweapon. the gameplay will be exactly the same for both sides.

They indeed were.

The only major decision you can make (well, you will do it sooner or later anyway) is, to play the What If missions to see something which could be described as an "alternative ending".

Well that and which side you want to fight for.
