My character just got promoted to Wizard last night.

But she did not get the Wizard's Fury spell. The rank changed to Wizard, but no spell added. Usually when a spell is added you get a notification at the top of the screen, but nothing this time. And it does not show up on the target spell lists.

I am using OOO (and MMM). I also use a leveling mod - nGCD. My character is at a very high level so she should have gotten the best spell. I'm wondering if there is any bug in getting the spell if your level is pretty close to max'ed. Or maybe it's something else.

Any idea of what went wrong and maybe how to recover?

Didn't find anything in the UESP about a bug in the vanilla game.

To console in the spell, enter player.addspell C481E. That should give you the expert level spell.

I use FCOM (OOO & MMM) as well as nGCD, myself. Haven't run into that issue, though. I guess it -could- be a leveling issue, though I wouldn't see how. Most likely a mod thing, methinks.

Thanks. I did look that up. But I though OOO might have modified the spell.

Also thought I might report the bug. I'm going to try getting promoted again now and see if it occurs.

OOO doesn't alter any vanilla quest rewards.
I completed the Mages guild at level 54 running both FCOM and nGCD so I can only assume it's a mod conflict.
If you can't narrow it down post your mod list.
Someone may spot something.

I thought you got Wizards Fury when you reached Master Wizard or something. Not wizard, but the rank that Raminus has.
Eh, been a while since I've payed attention to when I got what spell.
