Ranking

Hello everybody. I was wondering, since i recently read an article about the game and it said that there was 58 abilities where each one of them cost 1 credit. I also noticed that there is only 20 levels and that you only get one credit for each level. Does this mean that it isn't possible to unlock all abilities in the game. Hope that you can help

Not with any one character. But you can have up to 10 characters that all level up separately, so you can acquire every ability over multiple characters.

You won't be able to learn all abilities or max out as some would say. The best thing about not doing that is you level your char according to what you want. "Unique" is the word they used.

It means that you can't unlock all the abilities with one character, which is probably why they give you 10-16 spots (I don't know which number has been confirmed.) Also, some higher level abilities, like Downed Fire and Lazarus Grenade are more than 1 point. Those 2, for instance, both have price tags of 5 credits and others are also 4,3,2,and, like you did say, 1 so not all the abilities are just one credit.

Those are rank 5, not five credits.

Rank 1 abilities you can pick up from the get go.
Rank 2 abilities unlocked at level 5
Rank 3 unlocked at level 10
Rank 4 unlocked at level 15
Rank 5 unlocked at level 20

I might be wrong with the level numbers, but it at least gives you an idea. All abilities are 1 credit, some are just locked until a higher level.

20 Levels
5 Ranks

Ranks are also the brackets you're categorised into in Multiplayer.

Rank 1 = Level 1-4
Rank 2 = Level 5-10
Rank 3 = Level 11-14
Rank 4 = Level 15-19
Rank 5 = Level 20

The rank brackets you're paired with other players by are different though. I don't remember the exact numbers (Wraith's posted them a few times though) except for Rank 5 in matchmaking being 17 - 20 instead of just level 20.

Doesn't make sense to limit players to only playing other level 20 people - that'd make it impossible to find matches when you've leveled up early.
