Harvest Container 0.99.10 breaks my game

First, I'm not exaggerating, Harvest Containers literally chugs my game down to 1 fps. Second, not all areas actually, specific to areas WITH CRATES, LOTS OF CRATES

I've always wondered why whenever I'm at Imperial City Waterfront my game is so sluggish. I mean, I know it's crowded but 1 fps is truly not a gaming experience, especially because I've just optimized the meshes.bsa. It's been sluggish for a few months (around 2-4 fps, and 1 fps after I optimized the meshes surely surprised me), and since I don't have any business there I don't really bother with looking for the source of the problem

I've also always wondered why some crates for some reason seems to have lots of sides. You know, the sides that fall down when you activate the crate to show you've checked that one, only that they're not falling apart, just collided with each other, and there are lots of sides to collide. Shadow on those crates are pure black, not just soft black but pure and totally black. I thought it's the game's fault, but then again I don't really pay any attention. I mean, who plays Oblivion just to do research on crates?

Those "pure-black-shadowed" crates appeared on Talos District yesterday. I, once again. don't really bother, only that I started to think maybe it's because it has lots of layers and since each layer overlaps the other, so does the shadow, multiplying the black color in the process, making it pure black. But, once again, why bother?

That is, until just now: my fps at Talos District drops to 1 fps, just like in Waterfront

And I said, what the [censored]? Yesterday it's perfectly fine. Not constant 30++ but certainly playable and is far beyond 1. Then I remembered the "pure-black-shadowed" crates, decided to uninstall Harvest Containers and voila!

Not only was Talos District saved, Waterfront found its salvation too. And at that instant I understood why only Waterfront is so freaking sluggish: it has LOTS, and LOTS of CRATES

I have version 0.99.10 and I'm sure it's the latest version. I know his is not the problem of Harvest Containers as a whole, but just the crates part, but really, how come such a thing can happen? Does this happen only in my game?

Most crates only get handprints on them in OOO. Was the "sides falling down" a new feature?

Do you have Oscuro's installed as well??, that has Harvest containers integrated...

*I remember the sides falling at one time, may even have been OOO light...

No, I believe the "sides falling down" is an option for Harvest Containers, but iirc, even the author admitted it was buggy. I think it's implemented as an option of the esp you install and I suggest you go back to the basic one which just puts hand prints on crates.

Just looked at readme, and yes the sides falling down is an optional, experimental add-on. I suggest removing it.

Yes, it is an optional part. Glad to know it's not just me.

@Others:
No, I don't have any overhaul mods installed. Well, aside from Reneer's Guard.

Yeah the Crate sides is an optional esp (Havoh Crates.) Personally I don't really like those, so skip that esp. I use the other two though.
The hand prints is a part of the base mod itself.

I suggest you upgrade to http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=31799 (It's new!)
Don't know if it will fix your problem (the waterfront can be a problem regardless) but is a good idea nonetheless.

Hmmm.... I don't know  the moment I deactivated that Harvest Container most of my fps problem within cities are gone, literally. usually I can't reach 20 fps inside a city, except in Cheydinhal (probably Cheydinhal citizens like crates less than others) but now it's constant 20++, very playable and smooth-like.

Well, I'll give the .14 version a try, and no more Havok stuff for me. I've had enough
