based on the percentages i wrote before what am i looking at for a tribe? and i think we should all be allowed a 2nd in command like i have Chef Grumble

On your second point... That's generally what the Shaman is for. Nothing stops you from giving a personality to your underlings, though.

I think you'd need to try figuring out the math of your tribe for yourself... the disproportionate number of Berzerkers and low percentage of Skirmishers is throwing my mind off.

now this is out of the numbers not including the points or anything just the %i made for myself
first number is based off of 25 the second is 30 also all decimals i am rounding down who wants half a goblin lol because rounding up may make problems with the% also

Normal gobos 40%=10, 12
Rat Farmers 10%=2,3
Cooks 10%=2,3
Berserkers 30%=7,9
Skirmishers 10%2,3

so i have 24 gobos out of 25
and 28 out of 30

this sorta gives me something to work with

Given your high percentage of Berzerkers, you may need a much Smaller-than-Average tribe(20-ish), not Larger.
Berzerkers are awesome warriors to Goblins.

However, I must say my point-buy system may be completely borked and in need of a new overhaul, because I forgot to factor in the Inverse Law of Utility and Lethality. Berzerkers, though impossible for any number of melee-only Goblins to take down, and capable of tearing through Skirmisher and Goblin alike, are entirely combat-oriented. They don't give any other benefits. Goblins, on the other hand, while useful only as Cannon-fodder in combat, are the lifeblood of a clan in utility. Skirmishers are, in addition to supplying the bulk of the combat ability of a clan, are also capable scouts and harriers.

Reduce Berzerker Cost by 1/3rd

Okay, I think I've found a way for us to collaborate work at the same time: Google Docs. That would make formulating a point system or 'user manual' a lot easier. I'll make a document, then you guys can have the links and all. :)

I've PMed everyone who said they wanted to help the link. Hopefully that'll get the ball rolling, and we can make some real progress now. :D

Wouldn't a warlord be considered the second in command?

I'm not sure we need a Goblin guard. I was going to say they could be posted outside the cave to warn of possible attackers, but I feel thats a Skirmisher's job. Perhaps they could protect the shaman?

Just had a look and annotated all the updated areas. I'm glad to see everything is moving so quickly. :)

This might take some time to finish however, so just bear with us everyone.

Hey there! This RP certainly looks like fun. If you guys still got room, I'd love to join in. Judging by what I can see right now, the only tribe left is the Skull Breakers, maybe. If that's taken, well, I suppose I could always be some made up tribe ;)
Just a note, I dunno how fast this RP will progress, but being in aus, I'll probably be posting when half of all you guys aren't on. Which could potentially make RPing with me take a bit of time, what with the time zone differences and all. Still, if you don't mind that, I'd really like to join in on the fun, whenever it happens!

Hey, this is an equal opportunities role-play. You're welcome whatever the timezone. :P

I'll sign you up for the last official tribe, the Skull Breakers. Bear in mind that it may be a while before the actual role play thread itself materialises. This is more a concept and interest thread, and we're still trying to refine the gameplay mechanics into something workable. Hopefully that'll bear fruit soon. :)

I think I'll be ok with Skull Breaking, they have a nice symbol, after all =P

I'll just keep popping in every now and then to see how things are going, hopefully it won't be too long before the action starts, but theres no hurry. It's not like there's a big rush or anything. Besides, once you get all the mechanics nailed down, I'm sure this'll be blast.

hey hey hows the rp coming?

Just got back. Been gone for the last day and a bit because of faulty internet, but I'm back on it now. Time to start work again, methinks. :P

hey.
i'm sorry to say that i'm probably not gonna be able to participate. school is getting in the way to much at the the time and teachers said it's only getting worse. looks like they're finally waking up this year. but i have to much homework to do and then some bad points to work away. i think it is best to find someone else for the three feather tribe.

i wish you all a lot of fun with this rp and good luck. may the best tribe win!
