The Dark brotherhood to me felt like the most fleshed out faction in Oblivion, and remained my favourite.

Off-topic:
When you complete all the quests with Morag Tong/Dark Brotherhood it would be good if you could have generic assassin quests that you have to kill X person in Y location for Z gold in W way instead of just listening to Night Mother and delivering task to your Speaker every week.
Of course, if you don't feel like doing the quest yourself, you could just tell your Speaker to do it or send someone else and gain a smaller amount of gold.

I think it would be fun to have both in the game so that you could kill the murdering bastards.

I was more impressed with the Morag Tong than the Dark Brotherhood.
I think a rival guild for the DB would be great, MT or otherwise.

While it would be cool to have the Morag Tong in the game, I doubt that we'll see them. Assassin characters will have to stick with oh-so-cheesy Dark Brotherhood.

No. You have to remember that Black Marsh also invaded Morrowind and now control it. Without the tribunal, Black Marsh had nothing to fear when they invaded Morrowind. Most of the Dunmer live in Solstheim now.



Why do people think that fanatical cultists that love to murder other people are cheesy? Have I stepped into some quasi-universe where murdering people and languishing in their blood is considered cheesy? Wow, I guess it's an every day occurrence that you go out and murder someone in other places of the United States <_<

That's a damn shame, Morrowind was a beautiful landscape at that, I doubt the dunmer will be able to quickly form some sort of strong foothold in Solstheim with the Nords knocking on their door.

Well not sure how you know Morrowind was a beautiful landscape but okay. However, Vvardenfell was gloomy and dark. It had a nice swampy feel to it in most parts. It was nice looking but Cyrodiil was so much more beautiful.

As for them not being able to quickly form a foothold. They have been in Solstheim for 160 years, they have a foothold, a very big one lol.

I suspect you haven't played much Morrowind? Vardenfell was far from swampy in most parts - apart from the Bitter Coast Area. Places like the Ashlands, Red Mountain, Azura's Coast, Sheogorath, Grazelands were anything but swampy - the whole of the center was very arid.

Views are subjective, I found Cyrodiil very plain looking and almost like it was some sort of "Default fantasty setting".

I myself have not read The Infernal City, but after reading some summaries and some info about it, I haven't heard anything about how the Dunmer are coping on Solstheim other than that they fled there as refugees, and I haven't seen any news on them since :/

I've played plenty of Morrowind. A huge section of Vvardenfell is a swampy region. The center is a volcanic wasteland, also not beautiful. I didn't say ALL of Vvardenfell was swampy, I said that was the only place that really looked nice imo.
