When i try to start up daggerfall it says that i "don't have the right disc inserted, please insert the daggerfall disc and try again"

The command you type when you mount the CD drive is case sensitive.
You must type -label Daggerfall, not -label daggerfall.

Can the instructions be amended to include the case sensitive requirement?

They should be modified so you don't have to mount the disc like that every time.

It's possible to run Daggerfall without it needing to check for a CD. There's been posts on this, you should be able to find them with a search.

Daggerfall's free to download now, so I doubt it's much of a big deal.

hello guys I have downloaded the df from here install it from dosbox as in the text ı selected huge install option did as written in text also ı typed -label Daggerfall but again there is a wrong disc inserted error occured can you help ?

instead of following the install instructions from Bethesda, use the ones in the pinned thread here....i find them much better for getting the game running.
