Need help with a few problems

When i am playing Oblivion i am encountering a few persistent problems. These problems range from certain mod features not working properly to CTD's
Here are the details:
* When creating a Bashed Patch, the supreme magicka 'summoned creature' shader is not working. This seems to be caused by a script of MMM. When i create a bashed patch without importing MMM scripts the shader does display.
So my question is: Am i the only one with this problem, or are there others who see this too?
* When swimming in large bodies of water, my FPS drops to low rates. This is strange, since my PC is fairly new and fast. (see below)
* Sometimes the game crashes persistently when walking towards a certain spot. This seems to be related to some random event that happens on a particular position (like a spawn or a spell cast by some enemy), since if i walk in the same direction from a different angle, it doesnt crash.
* The most annoying and patience testing crash of all: sometimes when killing a Dread Zombie, the game gives me the dreadful CTD error. So in the heat of battle, when fighting multiple of the buggers, i am not certain if my game survives the battle. This is the most annoying crash of all. I can live with one random crash per 30-60 minutes, but this seems to occur many, many times and each time when a dread zombie is killed. When killing them with the console, the crash does not occur, but that is resorting to cheating in my opinion. I know there is a thread about Dread Zombie Crashes already, but i cant seem to get the answer out of it.

Now some info which can help the potential helper with helping me:

my system:
8 GB ram
Nvidia GeForce GT 330 (a 2 GB graphical card)
Windows 7 home premium 64 bits (UAC related problems already solved)
Intel Core i7 CPU 2.80 GHZ
I use K-lite Codec Pack (which seems to be the recommended pack)
I also use GameBooster (a program which disables unneeded processes during game play and can defragment game folders)

Tweaks to Oblivion itself:
Used the 3GB enabler.
I use Obse v0018

I have also created the Bashed patch according to http://sites.google.com/site/oblivionpoinfo/finishinstall/bashedpatch sites advice and i use the latest BOSS Masterlist.

Adding extra load under water. Remember....multiple cores are pretty near meaningless in Oblivion, so the i7 doesn't have as much advantage as you think.

The summoned creature issue has been reported before. It needs someone with some knowledge of TES4Edit, the bashed patch and SM to investigate the cause. Probably just a matter of updating the bash tags for SM.

Crashes on bad spawn can happen and are hard to prevent. Removing Additional Enemy NPC variants may take some stress off your system (or may just force the game to reevaluate that spawn) and often works, at least temporarily.

Does the Dread Zombie crash with any particular weapon? An issue was found with the Light of Dawn and is fixed for the next release as far as we know. Other scripted weapons may have similar issues. Or it may be related to the shader issue with SM. No definitive cause has been found.

Ah, thanks for the help.

* low FPS water: will update as soon as i feel better. (am not really 100% fit now)

* SM summon shader: I will have to wait for the solution then.

* bad spawn: like the low fps water, i will try the tip as soon as i feel better.

* Dread zombie crash: i am actually using a sigil stone enchanted daedric warhammer (called Wrath of the north). Wrath of the north uses frost damage as its enchantment.
The issue also happened with another character using Goldbrand.

I did what you said about updating MMM's diverse waterlife and deactivating the OOO waterfish and i got a good FPS under water now. I could swim Niben bay from one side to the other without any annoying stutter.
Thanks for the help.

I also deactivated Mart's Monster Mod - Additional Enemy NPC Vars.esp but time must tell me if it will work, since i haven't made any long walks in the wilderness.

Now for the dread zombies: is there any temporary solution to deal with the problem before the real cause is found?

I had the same issue with the dreded zombie, only one i a pack, killing it would CTD. I just run away now. Someone mentioned that killing it with magic my not CTD so you can try that. I will also give this a shot when I finally play next week.

A few updates:

* The Summon Shader issue does not affect all summoned creatures. Maybe this helps in uncovering its cause. Creatures i havent seen the issue were:
Dremora (both types)
Spiderling

* My current character killed one with a fire staff and the game survived. I have launched a thunder staff at dread zombies with another character, which also crashed the game.
Is there a way the shader they have can cause crashes? If so, does removing the shader prevent crashes? Are there any other tweaks I can try?

This Issue with Supreme Magicka and MMM Dread Zombies, shaders not working correctly is fixed in next MMM Release which is not too far away once again..

And if using OOO Light of Dawn Weapons that is fixed has well in Next OOO Version.
