Questions for Bethesda

Dear Bethesda,

I have a bunch of questions, and I want them answered immediatly!

Question 1. Are you making elder scrolls 5?
Question 2. If answered no to Q1, then why not?
Question 3. If answered yes to Q1 then why do you not say anything about it?
Question 4. Bethesda look at this statement below and answer what is sad about it

Fallout 3 - Fallout New Vegas
Little more than a year between the two
Elder Scrolls 4 - Elder 5
Almost at 5 years and counting

Question 5. Look at this list, then answer the question below

Morrowind- Game of the year
Oblivion- Game of the year
Fallout 3- Game of the year
Wet- No game of the year
Rogue Warrior- Most critics argue this to be one of the worst games of all time
Fallout New Vegas- Most likely not

What is the logic behind not even mentioning to continue the elder scrolls series?

6. Think about the statement below and then answer the question

Oblivion Metacritic score: 93-94 release date: March 20, 2006
Two Worlds Metacritic score: 50-65 release date: August 23, 2007

Hmm...which game would get a sequel first I wonder?
Two Worlds does!

How does a far worse game get a sequel before Oblivion?
Ill answer this one: Whoever is making the decisions on game development at Bethesda is a ****ing idiot!

If you read this thank you for your time. I assume that I will soon be booted off the forums for asking these questions so goodbye.

We have an http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1141791-official-tesv-speculation-thread-77/ for all TES V speculation. There is a list of links in the OP and you should certainly check out the two from August - Bethesda Game Studios has confirmed two games in developement but so far no details have been announced.

Perhaps I'm misinterpreting your questions but I get the feeling you aren't aware of the division between Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks. The former is a game developer and it's responsible for the Elder Scrolls series and Fallout 3, the later is a game publish and in addition to publishing BGS titles it's involved in a number of games by other studios.

Fallout New Vegas was developed by Obsidian Entertainment, WET by A2M, and Rogue Warrior by Rebellion;
Brink is being developed by Splash Damage, RAGE by id software, and Hunted by inXile.

So yes FONV was released only two years after FO3 but it was made by a different studio and was using a tweaked copy of the FO3 engine. FO3 itself was using an upgraded version of the Oblivion engine but for their next title BGS is developing a new engine and this adds a lot of time to the process.

It's fine that you want to ask questions and that you're interested in future Bethesda games and it's understandable that you weren't aware that Bethesda had both developement arm and a publishing arm - but it isn't acceptable to flame people on the forums or bypass the forum autocensor. In the future please be more courteous when posting.
