This post was made on [censored] a few months back, and normally such a thing should be taken with a grain of salt.

However, considering the posting got two unlikely pieces of information correct before TESV was announced to even EXIST (that the game was taking place in Skyrim AND was being done on an in-house engine), makes me feel like these rumors have some actual validity.

Mods: I apologize if this sort of thing isn't allowed to be posted here, but I didn't see anything on not posting such content so I think this is okay.

EDIT: "Elder Scrolls Tempist" would likely just be a working title if what the guy in the post says is true. Along the same vein of "Project Natal" ending up being "Kinect"

Well, he got the skyrim part right but on the other hand its coming from.. [censored]..

It could just be an angry employee that was just recently fired or its someone that wants attention. I personally think its fake because of the file transfer as Bethesda has never done that in any of there games and I doubt if they would change that policy.

Not true, due to the fact that transferring your character would be virtually impossible since SR is being made with a whole new engine.

I really wouldn't believe it. The Skyrim thing has been speculated on for quite a while, it has been known for a bit too that the engine would be new. Plus, it's /v/...

He was probably just making that stuff up. Rumors have been going around since a few months after Oblivion came out about the Skyrim setting for TES5. He was most likely just trolling and using already wide-spread rumors and got some lucky guesses.

Oh, yeah, I saw that post on /v/ as well. I think I actually posted it in a Suggestion/Speculation thread before the announcement for Skyrim, but it got ignored. As far as I'm concerned, at this point, it sounds like absolute [censored].

Until information comes out, it's fake.

Well, we could allow the rumor to be discussed but unfortunately there is a problem with it. There is language on that page we don't allow to be linked to or on the forum. And it's more than likely a legal issue if it's true at all..
