Well I'm still interested, revised a couple of the features of my character, so it might be worth giving it a quick look just to note the changes (Mental Descript, Slightly edited class and weapons/armor and motivation.)
Name: Elynniel Arthedaine
Age (apparent age): 21
Gender: Female
Race: Imperial (Mainly) / Nord
Birthsign: The Shadow
Physical Description: Standing at 5 ft 5 with a slender frame and having an athletic build, Elynniel doesn't cut a particularly imposing figure. Her features are pleasant, though they wouldn't especially stand out in a crowd. She sports auburn hair, kept in a practical ponytail, reaching just past the shoulders when unbound, complimented by her vibrant emerald eyes. Her skin is pale, no doubt coming from her Nordic blood.
Mental Description: Driven by curiosity and some fool's notion of adventure, Elynniel eagerly seeks out the hidden riches of tombs and far-off places that no-one's dared venture before. Young, she still has the optimism and energy of youth. Perhaps thanks to her dubious upbringing, she has a passive greed, and finds shiny things, gems and gold, to be particularly inviting things.
Class: Rogue
Class Description: Skilled at getting in and out of places where people just aren't meant to go, often without even being noticed, the rogue is an expert at dealing with traps, locks and the occasional creature that guards the treasure that a rogue is so often seeking. The occasional scuffle from being caught, or with customers that just aren't willing to pay, has given the rogue some skill in the arts of combat, no matter how underhanded the tactics are.
Skills:
- Blades (Small Blades being her main area of expertise)
- Marksman (Throwing Weapons are her forte, though she could probably shoot with some accuracy with a bow),
- Stealth (Spending much of her time sneaking through dappled forests, sprawling cityscapes and dank dungeons has made her quite good at this)
- Security (She has worked with a wide range of traps, though particularly ancient or arcane locks may elude her),
- Athletics (She is a very agile person, she could probably outrun all but the most dedicated creatures)
- Acrobatics (She blends this with athletics to really help her get around quickly, think Assassin's Creed or parkour),
- Light Armor (She prefers not to wear armor, though when heading into dangerous situations, she wisely buckles up)
Weapons:
- 4 Silver Throwing Daggers - Heavy (Relatively) weapons balanced for throwing, though in a pinch they can be used for melee, though ill made for it.
- 1 Elven Shortsword - A rather exquisite looking blade, it's a graceful and sharp weapon, though whether it was brought or pilfered is unknown.
- 1 Elven Dagger - An elegant weapon, it's edges are wickedly sharp and are well suited for poking holes.
- 3 Smoke Bomb - Made out of two pieces of wood containing some foul mixture, when thrown with enough force it (surprisingly) explodes and releases smoke.
Armor:
- Mithril Shirt - A beautiful shirt made of Mithril, it appears to be have been made for a person of some social status. Darkened by it's maker, intricate symbols and patterns are woven into it, bearing some passive enchantment to silence the jingle of the chainmail. The Mithril shirt is worn over a simple, fashionable blouse, though some might disagree, with the mithril covering most of it anyway.
- Tights - Simple Medieval Tights, colored black.
- Knee High Riding Boots - Soft and Supple leather boots that reach up to the knee, designed for traveling and horse riding.
- Warm furry cloak that keeps the Skyrim chill away.
Misc. Items:
-250 Septims (Or just Gold, whatever it may be nowadays)
-A small pouch (Enchanted with a weakish-medium feather spell, just enough to keep the things inside feeling weightless)
-Utility Belt (Carries all that thieving equipment)
-5 Lockpicks
-Rope And Grapple Hook
History: Being raised by Professional Treasure Hunters certainly leads to an exciting life. Elynniel never had much of a normal childhood, she was raised by two parents who both imparted bits of their quirks onto her. Her father, a charming imperial, was an avid collector of artifacts, be they Akaviri, Ayleid, Dwemer, all of these things were of interest to him. Her mother on the other hand complemented her father perfectly, her skills of thievery were more than a match for many of the traps thrown their way. So it was that when Elynniel was born, she was born a nomad, never staying in one place for long, except for her family's mansion, located in a quiet corner of Skyrim, miles away from the cities or the law. Her father would often give Elynniel books and spin tales of the wonders and myths of the world, while her mother taught her the skills she needed to look out for herself in the world.
And so it was for many years, until Elynniel came of age. With the blessing of her ageing father, her mother having died only a year before, she set out alone into the open world, hoping to better the lot of her family, and forge her own reputation for herself.
Motivation For Aiding the King: Dragons sure a interesting lot aren't they? Tales of a Dragon's horde and a king's fortune attracts Ely like a moth to a flame. Did I mention gold?
