Werewolves?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 5:09 am

Why on earth would were wolfs and vampires be fighting against eachother for according to the elder scrolls lore? They should stay out of eachothers businesses. Also, vampires in Skyrim are lurking under frozen lakes and what not, so they would be well hidden.

But yes, I want to become a werewolf or vampire. Or both :hubbahubba:

Yes I want werewolves, been saying this since the begining and being able to become one is the main reason:)

But only if you still had the curse, I mean if you think about it you were STILL a werewolf after you killed Hirculin (that his name?) at the end of Bloodmoon so why shouldn't the curse still be able to be used? I mean who is to say that you really killed all the werewolves that weren't just bat crazy and they infected other people all the way to Skyrim?
I can't see a reason WHY THEY WOULDN'T include werewolves, some reasons like another poster said about not being able to become one but than were is the fun in that? :obliviongate:

I thought of this
Magic : You can become a Lich.
Combat : You can become a Werewolf.
Stealth : You can become a Vampire.

Wadda think?

But i enjoy both combat and stealth, what if I wanted to become a werewolf but was a theif/assassin except at night?

Anyone else wondering if they allow werewolves in how they are going to do the transformation times? Like im Morrowind it got kinda annoying how everynight you became a werewolf just because, I mean atleast make it nicer were a full moon happens half of the month at diffrent times or something, maybe I want to go kill someone in human form at night every once in awhile

Quite like the idea of Wereboars, but maybe they can add both.

The only reason a werebeast and a vampire would fight would be by Hercine's divine will, not some stupid loreless grudge. (Although as awesome as Bethesda could make it) I wouldn't like to see that in the vanilla game, but having a mod later on might be cool assuming that they are both in the game itself. Sadly the lack of werecreatures in Oblivion was a reasonable thing, considering how rare they would be in Cyrodil with the legion patrolling areas day and night. I wish they were there but I hope Bethesda implements them in Skyrim and we let past mistakes rest.

There could be many clans in Skyrim. They can't all be under lakes. lol

They're going to have to put them in. Otherwise they're going to be ignoring the big fat elephant in the room.

As you can see by my avatar, I like werewolves, and really hope they are in TES: V, as they should be in order to keep with the lore of Skyrim. And not just werewolves, any were animal should come out at night, which would make exploring at night dangerous, that would be a great addition to immersion.

Going by lore the only werecreatures we should see in Skyrim would be werewolves and werebears, hopefully with the options to become either, like in daggerfall.

This whole vampires under ice lakes and stuff sounds very interesting and if implemented right might actually be a good gameplay mechanic, I might consider becoming one...

Also overhaul vamps and make them burn into ash or bones when killed!!!

Werewolves. If they do not add them into Skyrim a part of me will slowly die inside..

Now other werebeasts could be good if done correctly.. Skyrim is still Holds (The Reach, Eastmarch, etc.) and it would be cool if in certain exclusive places other werebeasts would be there but you have to think of playability. Having so many werecreatures in-game could throw off the aspect. Werewolves are an exception because as in ES lore, they're the universal werecreature which was recorded on every province.

Werebears are the most common lycanthropes in Skyrim so I don't see why we can't be either a werewolf or a werebear like in daggerfall we could be a werewolf or wereboar
