Will we be able to become a Tongue?

Only if I can quote lines from Dune. :P

Kinda like the Weirding Way weapon?

I figure if Thu'um were to show up, it would be a weapon, iirc only a Nord was capable of using, and one who had mastery of arcane Nordic magical arts.
Maybe for non-nords, some sort of magical bonus upon attaining magical guild mastery.

My worst nightmare is not only being able to use it, but being able to use it no matter what race you are. That would be such a depressing break in lore...

I'm hoping we get to see it in action, but not actually use it, unless our character is a Nord and goes through a hell of a lot of trouble to do so.

This , it just seems a little overpowered. Maybe as lesser magicks but nothing too powerful and then we got a problem.

Only if its implemented in the main story line. Just as a normal skill anyone can use... no. And maybe there would be some NPCs that could use it, and they would be extremely powerful.

As long as it doesn't limit us to just playing a nord I'll be happy

i hope it DOES limit you to needing to be a nord to use it. This is supposed to be an RPG, and hard choices are supposed to be made. Letting any race use Thu'um would be as big of a mistake as Oblivion letting any character join and complete every single guild quest in only one playthrough.

My point was it would be unexpected. Given what little we know about thu'um (the vital question - can it be taught to other races - is also pretty vague), it is not inconceivable that it could be used in some form by a non-Nord.

We know only nords use it, and that it was used to level cities. Wulfhart was also blasting into ash by the greybears, and that those who use Thu'um are forbidden to use it for war when the most powerful Thu'um user defeated 7 other Thu'um users at once.
